After leading for 124 laps, Ryan Blaney's engine blew up with 60 laps to go. Kyle Larson was able to fend off Denny Hamlin then slowly move to the front passing Chase Briscoe, Bubba Wallace, and finally Alex Bowman with only 6 laps to go. This was Kyle Larson's first win this year and the 30th in his Cup career.
Despite a lighting holding before the race began, pole winner Joey Logano controlled the first half of stage 1 until a small rain shower gave every a chance to catch their breath. Brad Keselowski and Austin Cindric were exchanging the leads until Christopher Bell got turned around into the wall with less than 4 laps to go in stage 1. Austin Dillion got squeeze between two cars then hit Ryan Blaney in the rear turning him into the wall head on.
With only 9 laps ran into stage 2, there was "the big one" evolving 23 cars, more than half the field. This took out many first class drivers giving a green light to the survivors that were up front on a different strategy. After some close calls and very intense racing, Tyler Reddick won stage 2 by a nose.
Elliott, Keselowski, and Alex Bowman were the main contenders for the lead in the final stage, with Zane Smith also briefly taking the top spot. On the final lap team mate Bowman gave a push to hometown hero Elliot allowing him to pass Keselowski securing his victory. This was Elliot's first win of the 2025 season.
